I am a complete beginner and have only just got myself a digital camera but it all seems rather overwhelming!
Over the years I have taught hundreds of novices and complete beginners, so I completely understand where your coming from, it all seems daunting.
I have devised a teaching method that strips back all the complexities and theories just concentrating on the things you need to know to take great pictures.
Is it possible to be taught on my own?
Yes most definitely! Everyone learns at different speeds and students come with different abilities.
With One-to-One lessons I can teach at a pace that suits you. Therefore achieving your goal of producing photographs with the WOW factor as soon as possible.
You can book individual lessons through the calendar below on Mondays between 10AM and 7PM or Saturdays between 9AM and 1PM.

But I am not very good at technical things!
That’s why the lessons are very hands on and practical.
My years of experience as a qualified teacher (PGCE level 7) means that your lessons will be Fun, to the Point and Useful.
I want to take better photographs when I am on holiday, can you help?
My lessons will give you a firm foundation in all types of photography. However I can certainly share with you valuable tips and techniques that will help produce travel photographs that you will be proud of.
Where do the lessons take place?
In my studio or the kitchen table and in various locations around Bristol.
I am based in Victoria Park, BS3 in Bristol.
It is possible for more advanced workshops to take place in your own home or studio.
So how many lessons will I need?
I get asked this question a lot and of course there’s no definite answer.
But as a guide 6 x 1 hour lessons spread over a few weeks normally is a good starting point.
